For treatment of Iron deficiency in adolescents and adults where the use of ferrous iron supplements is not tolerated, or otherwise inappropriate.
Dosage / Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr Fe deficiency anaemia 1-3 tab daily for 3-5 mth until normalisation of Hb values. Therapy should be continued for several wk w/ 1 tab daily for replenishment of Fe stores. Adult & childn >12 yr Fe deficiency w/o anaemia 1 tab once daily for 1-2 mth. Fe deficiency anaemia in pregnancy 2-3 tab daily until normalisation of Hb values. Therapy should be continued w/ 1 tab daily until pregnancy ends for replenishment & supplement of increased Fe needed during pregnancy.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take w/ or immediately after meals. May be chewed or swallowed whole.
