SERVIER ARCALION 200MG TABLET 30’S (SULBUTIAMINE)

What is Arcalion?
Arcalion containing the active ingredient sulbutiamine is a synthetic derivative of thiamine (vitamin B). It remedies the symptoms of weakness by increasing focus, strength (both physical and mental), and energy. It can help the patient become more alert, less lethargic, and more upbeat whilst also helping to stabilize sleeping patterns. The medication is prescribed as a treatment to help patients with a wide range of conditions such as asthenia, chronic fatigue, diabetes, hypothyroidism, renal disease, fibromyalgia, and depression.

How is Arcalion used?
Arcalion is usually taken 1 to 2 times per day or as directed by a doctor. The medication can be taken with or without food but should be taken with a glass of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage as it will depend on the condition being treated and the patient�s response to the therapy. The maximum recommended amount is 600mg within a 24 hour period. The tablets should always be taken whole and not chewed, broken or crushed to prevent too much of the medication from being released at one time.
